PhD Position (A7,a)
This PhD position will contribute to project A7 "Visualization of coherence and variation in meteorological dynamics".
PhD advisor: Prof. Dr. Filip Sadlo
The successful candidate will have the exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of novel techniques for coherence- and feature-based visualization of meteorological data, with focus on ensembles.
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in computer science and possibly even extended knowledge in visualization or visual computing.
The position is funded until June 2019. The successful PhD candidate will be remunerated according to TV-L 13 (100%) and should start as soon as possible.
