Maria Madsen
Maria Madsen did her PhD at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She explored characteristic intraseasonal transitions of the winter time Pacific jet stream. She has been collaborating with Christian Grams and Seraphine Hauser in the A8 project where her research provides an important contribution to understanding the role of teleconnections for blocked weather regimes in Europe.
Since January 2022, Maria is part of the A8 project where she investigates the dynamics of weather regimes with a LIM (linear inversed model) as a Postdoc at JGU with Michael Riemer and Volkmar Wirth and at KIT with Christian Grams and Seraphine Hauser.
